Some phenomena are cross-generational

My four year old grandson is obsessed with collecting stones/rocks and throwing them into water. Ingalalla Falls near Normanville, South Australia, is a favourite but this poem was prompted after a similar experience dropping rocks from the end of the, as I understand it, second shortest jetty in Australia at Normanville Beach
